BIRD is a new golden brooch by Andrew Logan, handmade in his studio in mid-Wales in 2022. He hopes this one-off piece of wearable sculpture will bring you joy and a ray of golden sunshine.
This simple yet striking brooch is created using a gold piece of mirrored glass cut into a shape that resembles a bird. This mirror has been set into black resin which has been covered in golden and multicoloured glitter.
BIRD is signed and dated on the back by Andrew Logan. A safety pin is embedded on reverse side and the brooch dimensions are approximately 11 x 4cm, with a weight of 13g.
